10 Years later ...

But you see today ... We broke free

Today ... I came out as bare as my birthday

I heard the saviour was in town to rescue the trapped ...

and my name, he called

But you see today ... Was 10years later

And this is why I couldn't leave ...

I burnt the suitcases my stuff came in. 

I thought I'd never need them again. 

Besides it was you who made it feel like I was cluttering your closet wit all this empty useless luggage.

So I let it go. 

See all my emotions, feelings, breath, life, happiness, soul, strength, growth ... My existence ...

In flesh and spirit, was neatly packed in your closet which we'll soon lose the key for and forget about...

I thought about taking off and leaving everything behind in hope of keeping it safe. 

The wind of emptiness blew in my

direction as I opened the door, forcing me back into the lifeless house.

And inside the house, was your mystery closet, wit my whole life in it. 

I thought about breaking the closet open and grabbing what I could and take off. 

The thought of having my wardrobe hanging in the public ironically made me feel naked. 

So this is why I couldn't leave...

But you see today ... We broke free
