Dreams for sale

Dreams for sale

A Poem by Spirit

Chill he said we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.
But he was selling me lies while I was selling him dreams.
Excuse me while I slow us down …
I know we’re done but stick around for what could have been have we gave it more substance.
Visualize with me our imaginary satellite …
No confusion in our Youth,
Where mind attraction is enough for both individuals and Society pressure isn’t a factor.
Where it is still ok to find pure intentions in the mist of the opposite and our eyes literally speak sense bearing truth.
Where loyalty is not questioned not cheap bought.
… Our generation speaks about the scary truth of compromised standards.
But this is an imaginary satellite,
but just like sold dreams it too could be a reality, maybe for just you and me, we could leave it.
