Invisible children

Invisible children

A Poem by MandaBear
"

I wrote this poem after i saw a video on youtube. I felt the need to share my feelings. It might not be the best poem but i had to get it out. Please let me know what you think :)

"
Invisible children stand up
show your selves,
Your not alone
We see you, we know your there.

Victims of mindless self control
No regard for human life
Yet, he's still out there.
Living while they are dying.

Invisible children stand up.
Your shadows now come to light.
You are not alone.
We are here, We are with you.

Bullets flying every where
No one to care
Hands need to join together
There is no giving in.

Invisible children stand up.
Just like a heart beat
the drum beat carries on.
No longer will you be invisible.

You will be seen...
You will be heard...
You will be saved...

I see you...
I heard you...
I will help save you.

Now you will be seen all around the world....

Love this. It is inspiring, emotional, and very powerful. Anything we make to bring attention to the problems in this world is much appreciated. We all need to work together to end this. Thank you. Kony2012

I travel the world on many food and water mission to Asia and Africa. I learn not to understand why war is more important then the homeless and starving people. Your poem is true. They are invisible to most. A million a month die of hunger in Africa. Maybe the concern of a great land should be kindness and food/medicine. Not Soldier and war? A powerful poem. Made me think. Thank you for the excellent poem.
