Used to be...

Used to be...

A Poem by MandaBear
"

I hope you like it. I just made it up as i went along :)

"
I used to be beautiful
I used to be amazing
I used to be all you needed
I was once your girl.

Now I am nothing to you
I am a disease; an unwanted infection.
You say I am the worst kind of poison.
A contamination not worth saving.

I used to be loved.
I used to be wanted.
I used to be your number one.
I was once your muse.

Now I am just an illness to you.
I am pollution in your mind,
Tainting your heart forever.
I am an impurity on your soul.

I guess you could say I am a curse
I am a virus; an contagion.
I am the plague you wish would go away.
I cause more trouble then i am worth.

I will no longer be your curse.....

This is my kind of poetry. Direct and honest thoughts. I like the way you expressed the situation and the very nice ending. Sometime a goodbye is better then swimming in disappointment. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
