Passing through Kentucky

Passing through Kentucky

A Poem by nicolashuerta
"

a quick memoir from the road

"

Fat hairy mountains sleep.

Moon kindles blue.

Somewhere, a wildcat purrs

Appalachian ghost stories.

At an interstate gas station,

the man wearing a baseball cap

believes he's a sex symbol

and flirts with the attendant.

Razor burn bubbles his neck.

Great imagery, and very nice flow.

it is so easy to imagine your poetry, when I read, I see, and I can easily do this with your words, I would love you to write more poems :)
