Self deprecating thoughts lingering in my head
Evoking feelings of animosity and shame
F**k self pity
F**k crying 'cause I'm weak
I'm envisioning my future
And the outlook's looking bleak
Dubious are all my actions
Uncertainty abounds
Despite what others see
My life just isn't profound
I always have a hunger
A thirst for something more
The only problem is
Of what, I'm not that sure
There's been many nights
Where I'm lying in my bed
With a numbness in my chest
And a feeling of dread
Towards tomorrow and suddenly
My anxiety's been fed
