Complications

Complications

A Poem by Fanicia E.
"

UPDATE: This was written at an emotional time, and I am okay about everything now. However, I will leave it up because I know others can relate.

"
Invested time
Patience been tested
In all the ways you had neglected
How I felt
Was disrespected
I'm losing focus
And you're losing interest.
Hard to find fond feelings
when I know you won't miss them.

It makes me sad to read this, becuz of all the years spent enduring such sub-standard situations in my own life. By the time I learned to follow my gut feelings about things, now I'm too old to have the world at my fingertips like I did before! Oh well! It makes me feel good when a young person like yourself is learning to see when things are too far gone. Your details really paint a realistic picture of how this feels. Fondly, Margie

This piece is very relatable. Men can be douchebags sometimes.

One one hand, I am so sorry that you even had to write this piece. It has so many "feels," I'm not even going to start naming them. It absolutely packs one hell of a wallup. So universal, and so well said.

As always, I love your vulnerability and your transparency. Sending hugs and wishing your heart peace. My heart is here for you.
