Finding Love

The need to be with others

to talk to touch or hold.

Is taken far to lightly.

If I may be so bold.

Until you are alone

with no one to turn to.

You cannot feel the want inside

for someone to need you.

Love we take for granted

till it’s love that we have lost.

But the first time that we lose it

may not come at such a cost.

Because now you know what love is

and can handle it with care.

When you find someone who loves you

this feeling you can share.
