A Call to Humanity

I knocked on the doors,                   

Searching for humanity,                                       

Because desperate i was                               

and losing my sanity.  

                                               

O human being, how could've you,                 

Forgotten those values of love and fraternity?     

                                                                                                   

You've taken away life, so precious, 

To kill one is to kill all humanity.

             

 Yet here you are, your hands,                 

They're blackened by the evil and severity.    

                             

 Your heart that does not feel, your eyes that do not see                              

 That you are the cause of the terror in this city.       

                                    

That you are the one spreading this evil                                                          

But fingers pointed elsewhere, you call yourself civilized and mighty?   

 

 How will you justify your acts? How will you deny the facts?                          

When He will hold you responsible for each sin and every enormity?  

   

How will you beg for forgiveness     

with such mounting deeds of atrocity and brutality?  

                                            

So let's revise that message                   

Of kindness and amity.  

                            

Before we lose ourselves                      

 On murder and enmity.     

                       

 Let's turn towards                                         

 goodness and piety.         

                      

Before we burn in that horrendous fire                                                    

                 For all of eternity...
