alone

I am alone

I wonder along earth’s edge with my heart

A place with no home just me

I stand

A man

Alone and free

 

 

Then I look into the stars of a lonely night

And realize there is more than air by my side

 

My mirror image following me

He is my love

My copy

The whole that makes me

 

In this time it was foolish of me

I never saw just how much my son loved me

 

Standing on a hill and wishing to see

There is no greater than the love I have

That between my son and me
