If I were a pigeon

If I were a pigeon

A Poem by Glen's not so clean slate

do you ever wonder what life would be like if you were a bird? Probably a pigeon

If I were a pigeon
I'd move from shore to shore
Drop white gifts upon thy enemies
And fly right to thy door

If I were a sail boat
I'd drift from time to time
To meet new friends from distant lands
With the lord Jesus Christ as my Captain

If I were an old man
Not so hard to imagine now
I'd gaze upon the mirrors speckled face
And love each and every line

If I were an egg
I'd whip myself to fluff
I smear my body with the tastiest omelet
And be devoured by
Thy lust

I am a poet and I don't wipe. I tend to write it as it first comes to me in a stream of consciousness fashion and make little edits. Accept it or do not. I am just here to WRITE. Feel free to leave a .. more..
