Cheyenne

Cheyenne

A Poem by Anonymous

In your presence
The whole world drops
Into the background noise,
Turned into silence
by the blink of your eyelids.
As you walk away
from my life, disappearing,
I am soundlessly screaming,
But the trace you've left
Will never fade, engraved
On the left side of my chest.
Cheyenne.
Your smile, your laughter
More powerful than an orgasm
And the lingering moments after.
Sweet pain of never but always
Your silence is honest.
Cheyenne.
Constraints of this helpless language
Make my tongue bend backwards
Faced with the awe of this madness.
Feels like I'd levitate if I touched u
Drowning in weightlessness.
I wish that math could decypher
Your code of essence
But only God and not by chance
Designs such miracles as you
Cheyenne.
There is a purpose in all this
You gave me hope - the very least
Of impacts of your beautiful creation.
Don't ever settle for any less
Than glorious destiny He will suggest -
Whatever comes in your imagination
Fulfill your dreams and your potential.
You are eternity, The Universe
Is yielding human essence.
God speaks in every sentence
of your life book. Look -
The moon will shed its light
At both of us tonight
As the whole world drops
Into the background noise,
Turned into silence
by the blink of your eyelids.

- to Ch. E.
