"

short poem

"

Welcome to this world, full of people concerned with the wrong things.

Lawyers, diplomats, all politicians; missing the forest for the trees.

Concern is not my duty but caring can still be an option to exercise.

If we could only see the myriad possibilities available to us, we could stand on the shore of opportunity.

When to start and when to stop is always a challenge.

The lessons along these lines are never ending.

Stars are born and stars will die.

The harvester of sorrows doesn't question why.

i love poems that seem more like a stream of ideas connected by sentiment or meaning, and this is one of those moments. "missing the forest for the trees" was my favorite line. encompasses a hell of a good portion of what people somehow think is natural and progressive for themselves and others.
