Signs

Signs

A Poem by Nadia Zahran

Stop doing this to me
Feel the cabbage-stained fingertips
Public restrooms are places for filth-infested s***s

As I walk by crying walls

And dying eyes
With a faded voice
That is corrupt by choice

Do what you must to my blood filled thoughts

The unbreakable has fallen apart
As the purple leaves fill your mind
The grayness around gets to you

Provoking you to kill

Drop that trash
Fall from a windowsill
Contorted words
Broken visions
Infiltrate your already corrupt head

Beautiful girl

Dead end

Fingers loosen

Body bends

Stop f*****g with me

This can’t be fixed

Stop touching me

You won’t be missed
