I know the fate of this moment

Counting sunrises on fingertips

Tasting sorrow in the distance

There is no sweetness between us

Another whisper painted by touch

Burning cold letters by a candle's flame

Words I can't hold stain the page

Signed with a love meant to separate

Cadence etched upon soft lips

Lust lost in a night's innocence

Caught between hesitation and forgiveness

My heart stolen and forever sealed with a kiss
