Reflections of LA Art

Reflections of LA Art

A Poem by Omar Ramon
"

I was at a comedy event surrounded by aspiring artists. I found myself alone as my friend left early. I felt the urge of what I was feeling off of the people who attended the event.

"

Brew haha

Here I am again

Lost in this s**t again

Getting my name out in my head

Wondering about the steps I take

My life is the art  I make

To paint the strokes of my life

Focusing on the present instead of what's inside

Brew high high

In the clouds within the sky

Just killing time to be able to drive

Finishing off a beer so I can think clear

I know I don't belong here

At 25 anywhere seems better than here

Consistency is the must

Thinking so hard there's haze in my eyes

To trust your gut or trust yourself

Hoping for something different to arrive

Human interaction since when did it go out of fashion
