In the back of my mind, the person who is most always found in my poems. But in reality, I was sitting on a hammock reading The Gangster We Are All Looking For by Lê Thi Diem Thúy. It's an absolutely beautiful write, I could read it again and again and again. Her work changed the way the voice in my head spoke for a little while.
