Remembering You

Remembering You

A Poem by Angela ☄️

Remembering you
Tear's me apart
I think of you at night
Of when we had a good start
All the time I think
If only I would have tried a little harder
I think we were too young
To damaged from our pasts
Two damaged people we were
I know we could have made it last
Now the day we were suppose to be married,
is finally rolling around
I think of how much better we could have been by now
If only I would have tried a little bit harder
If only I wouldn't have given up on you
Maybe then we would still be together
I only wish our hearts could find each other's now

This isn't for anyone. I am starting therapy soon and I have kept this pent up enough.
