Homophobia Hurts

Hoping to be treated normal

Only to remember I'm queer

Marriage is not possible

Or at least not here

People bully you

Harrass and tease

Only if the could feel this

Begging on your knees

It's who I am are

A little different from the rest

How is it my fault that i

Urge for the same sex

Really I'm normal

This is normal you see

Sex doesn't matter, it's just love to me.

I love this poem. I think everyone should be treated the same regardless of their sexuality.
