It's Way Out

It's Way Out

A Poem by ColseJ

Darkened by the bright of day the fiend of my being cast its shadow upon me.

Every laugh It hears, every smile It sees, its icy grip weakens the burning flame I hold inside,

The winged behemoth struck from all sides,

I ran, the imp caught me

I hid, the black beast sniffed me out

I fought, the demon won.

It settled right inside of my being, making its home in the heart of me.

I wander, shrouded in black

I think, mangled thoughts

I cry, every night

There is no light at all

I am blind and cannot see

There is one exit that only i can foresee.
