New Look, Old World

New Look, Old World

A Poem by Milee Rose

They say when one sense is gone
Another is heightened
So when my heart was numb
My view was lightened

Do you feel my heart beat?
It's in there somewhere
I swear to you
There's no one else there

I say a lot of things
But I don't mean a lot more
Here's your diagnosis
You compulsive liar
