Modern Britian.

June is 25 and Billie is 26 and they both have 2 young children one 5 years of age and the other 2. And both adults work. June works part-time as a cleaner at a local primary school. And Billie a security guard full time at a shopping centre uptown. But they do not earn enough between them. To play the rent and all the bills. And buy food and clothing. So they do the weekly. Food runs to the local food bank. To help them survive.

This is modern Britain. And they are not alone.

We are going back to the dark ages.

In this modern world there should not be the need for two working peolpe to have recourse to charity food banks >>>Whar has gone wrong ???

In the super market a box for donations of food
Children at school having to be funded (where from?) to go on trips

Old clothes to throw out >> Put them in a charity bag . old discarded shoes

Old people have a choice to eat food or heat the house >>> Eat food and wear outdoor clothes in the house seems the choice

Exactly Wild Rose, I don't understand this world at times. And the so called people who run our country. At the end of the day. They actually only look after themselves not the people who put them in power. Sad and so ironic.
