2019 God Help us All.

We live in a world that

is so sick

and twisted.

Let alone

vile and nasty

at times.

No wonder

a lot of people

feel abused,

mental and physically sick,

let alone lonely and isolated

and in despair.

And want to commit

suicide and give up.

This rat race called living.

In some countries

there are riots,

going on,

bloodbaths and wars

in others.

As well as famine

and immigration camps

in other parts of this world.

Let alone  hatred and greed in

rich countries that screw the rest

of us.

It's coming towards a Christmas Season,

And then a New Year of 2019.

And if this is what the world is like now.

All I can say is we are truly fucked.

God help us all.

I think more or less the same things (except for the suicide part).
It's funny how you brought to mind this jingle from when I was a kid. It was a Philips Magnavox commercial, I think. The jingle was something like "You have to admit, it's getting better... Getting better all the time."
I always considered whomever wrote that never was a blind mother******.
