World War 3 ....is it coming closer?

Is World War 3

coming closer,

to the inevitable day of happening?

As the goings on,

in this world

at large.

Is making it

a very scary place.

Where has the love gone,

the caring, thoughtful ways

of humans beings in general?

All it seems to me is hatred,

suffering, wars, famine and upset,

spreading across all lands and seas.

It's upsetting to watch the news.

And hear so many scary things.

Death seems to be

an everyday common occurrence

no matter

where you live.

I fear for the future

the younger generation.

The ordinary person in

this world

who are just

trying to live

hand to mouth

and keep a roof

over their heads

and kids too.

This world is so corrupt,

sick and sad.

And on a downward spiral.

It's really scary to imagine

what the future holds for all.

I know I am being gloomy and

doomy with this prose poem.

But reality can not stop blinding

you in your eyes. Each and every

day you see them and read about all

in the newspapers.

About what is going

on in this vast big world.

What a cheery b*****d I am!.

Or am I be a realist

and seeing

the world

is just major fucked up?

And heading on a collision course

where no one will win. This time

around.

You have a right to be concerned, Dawn.
Wars are really out of the average person's control; governments plan and initiate wars--most of us then merely become victims no matter who supposedly "wins" those conflicts.
