a ditty poem.

The sky is blue

my eyes are green.

The heavens above

beckon me with love.

I fill my days

with daydreams.

As I wandering in the valley.

I spot a skylark

with a worm in his beak.

And my heart warms

up at the sight.

Nature and wildlife

heaven and earth.

What a beautiful world

we live upon.

If we only open

our eyes wide

to actually see fully.

This is a nice piece Dawn to remind us to stop to smell the roses. You remind me of my partner with 'saving' the worm from the skylark. She loves nature and animals but if she sees nature in action she hates it! We often have a sparrowhawk visit our garden. To me it is a beautiful part of nature but she hates it so.
