Harsh reality

I give thanks for still being here

and alive.

I give thanks for walking, talking

moving and doing as I please.

Life maybe has not been an easy

road for me.

But I appriation the value of being

alive even when times are hard

and you think might give up.

But push yourself to carry on

even in those dark times.

As life is for living.

As we normally only get

one chance to live it.

Reality kicks in big time.

When death faces you.
