Love can Kill

Sometimes you can be very lucky

and met your soul mate

fall in love and marry

and have that picket fence

with children and all the trimmings.

And live a glorious life together.

Then sadly and tragically,

something happens and one passes away.

The other is left in limbo

with shock and horror outwith upset

and grieve, to say the least.

It takes them a very long time

for them to come to terms with their loss.

And sometimes they have to start from

scratch living again.

As their soul mate did everything from them,

protecting them from the outside world so to speak.

And tragically in occasional cases,

they never overcome their loss and grief and simply give up.

And ended up joining their loved one in the grave.

As love is that powerful and overwhelming

that it can actually kill you too.

If your love is that strong

and you have the undeniable mental, spiritual,

soul connection with a fellow human being.
