FIERCE-EYED DAWN SHARK

FIERCE-EYED DAWN SHARK

A Poem by R J Askew
"

I am more pished off this week than I was last Tuesday...the work, work, work of trawling through this n that, here n there...i am going nuts need a laugh, post 18 mad lines...system freezes lines lost...

"

O you!

Phish me

Phishy, plishy, dish me

my Turpentine

Open account

Pass press word

O you!

Down you blow, go, blow

Blish, Blishinghamthorpebury you!

Mindful of the majesticals now

Fair off all rails

Fierce-eyed way two dawn day

O you, yes, you!

Aquariana-ensis

Succubus, aquabus, not so bendy-bus

Cloud sixty-eight

Ring hell, big bell

Four next stop, NO! stop, STOP!...o stop you stop...

Waow! I could not help busting into laughter by reading your poem. It contains so many inferences and innuendos which leave the reader's mind completely free to imagine whatever he wants! If that was your intention then you have completely succeeded! It is totally thrilling if one has just a little imagination and creativity, which most readers in this forum have.

However, one must confess that some terms contained in the poem could be difficult to understand to someone else.

The last paragraph I like best. Oh! So oh!!!!
I like your "Orlando Furioso" too. It reminds me of a beautiful aria of the same name! Or is it not "Orlando amoroso"?

Have to admit I have absolutely no idea what this is about at all. Sounds like a journey around Hyde park on one of the new buses whilst dreaming of fishing in a pond retrieving words and missing the stop. One of us must be very tired!
