A place where I love you

A place where I love you

A Poem by outspoken1234
"

This poem is about how it feels to lose a little sister and to cope with the feeling of grief and sorrow. While also dealing with the feeling of being happy she isn't suffering.

"
Fields of blue
Fields of red
Hiding where I've never been
Cross the sea's and mountains high
Is a field where I love you
Where my sweet baby sister is
Where I will be
In the apple tree's
Beneath the sky's blue hue
Where my love lasts forever
Summer will always bloom
Rest your sweet little head
My love will be with you alive or dead
For my sweet baby sister
I want to hold you and never say goodbye
But your already gone from my sight
My heart may be breaking
Yours may be staying
So rest your head sweet little one
For your in a place where love bloom's
A place where I'll always love you

I know this may seem a bit weird as far a poem goes but just so people know who read this I wrote this right after my sister passed away and every word comes from the heart and my soul.

Beautiful. This poem is full of emotion and imagery. I felt a strong connection of love and sadness when I read this, since I also have a little sister, though she is still alive. This is not weird at all and actually very touching to me. I am sorry for your loss, and I hope that writing has helped you! Keep writing! :)

This is ethos which is an appeal to emotions, you're able to get to the emotions of the reader by channeling your own emotions.

Thanks for your comment
This is a beautiful tribute to your sister. I am very sorry for your loss. There's nothing weird about it and your imagery was a lovely thing to see created in my mind. If holds your love and your sadness.
Thank you, for sharing this.

It was difficult to write but I am glad someone else understands what emotions play out.
