I'm not you

Poem about wanting to be some one else.

I have nothing that resembles you.
I’m not of the same quality as you.
Though I am ashamed to admit this,
Because of my pride,
And my childish ignorance,
I, with all my heart’s desire,
I wish to become you.
Maybe just a shadow of you,
A darker light,
An ugly version of your beauty.
