Sun and the moon

Sun and the moon

A Poem by Vertu Rose
"

Admiring a faraway boy...

"

Sunshine greets your skin,
You absorb it with ease,
Enjoying it’s warmth,
Smiling in innocent satisfaction.

The star falls off the horizon,
You whimper your goodbyes,
Getting silenced by the cold,
Frowning in awareness,
That the world is neither,
A friendly place, nor hostile.

Yet as the sun returns,
The next morning,
Your realize there is no balance,
Between joy and sadness.
