An Old Sintatra Song

An Old Sintatra Song

A Poem by Britteny

As the time proves right

Hold her in your arms tonight

Mr. Sinatra once said

His face turns cherry red

As he takes her hand

But she cna understand

For she's just as backward

Utter silance can be heard

They feel as if they only exist

Others gone in a hazy mist

As they swhirl just so

He's happy he gave this a go

Old Hollywood romance

From Jitterbug to slow dance

People come to wonder

How two could be so under

Old black magic's spell

It's love potion number nine as well

That leaves them on clouds

Voices hushed no longer loud

As the music plays on

A small kiss he places upon

Her tender cheek

As the band concludes it's peak

And heads towards a soft end

The couple no need to pretend

That they love each other emensely

True love obvious and srong hence

Ends my old hollywood tale

Of how love is shy but never fails
