Rainbow

Rainbow

A Poem by Britteny

Purple is a color so deep

Through the eyes in the brain it seeps

Draw me purple bubbles of lavander light

In water of rich blue it just might

Steam up the many mirrors warm

Making cloads of foggy mist swarm

Peach is a tempting fruit

Making hungry men spill their loot

Make my lavander smell of peach

Playing with my nose and my cheeks

Sprinkle rose petels of yellow

These are rare and mellow

As there pefume does spread by all means

Wrap me in a soft towel of green

So I may be wrapped in Earth

Feeling as I did at birth

I don't ask of you much

But to love the tender touch

As simple bath to draw

With love so strong you'll crawl

On hands and knees for it is one

One with nature and when your done

We'll cry tears of crystal

requests shoot through the air like a pistol

I ask you to paint

A rainbow I grow faint

With the colors and love you've given me

This just shows we're meant to be
