Peaches

Peaches

A Poem by Britteny

Peaches

When everything went wrong

That's what he gave

Both sour and sweet to taste

Upon her soft lips

He gave her

Peaches

Not just a succulant fruit

In the time of her hunger

But an escape from the confusion

He had set before her yes

He was devious in doing so

But these

Peaches

Showed his love

Yet in the same hand

His hate

His mind screamed I hate you

Let the sour pungent taste

Intoxicate your hallocinating soul

Yet as

Peaches have nector sweet

His heart let out a different plea

Let the sweet nector of my love

Dance upon your toungue and

Quence your every need

My peaches

Are the only way I can be me

They are an escape for you not only

But one from myself

Only within the releams of this fruit

And my strongest will and magic

Can we both live as we want to

All our problems can be resolved

If you eat my gift

My gift of love

Peaches
