A Poem by pamela

I wish you knew that when I met you.

My face turned red.

my heart pumped blood to my body faster.

I wish that I had everything you find appealing.

I wish you liked the way I dressed.

I wish you liked that way i laughed.

I wish without me you couldn't sleep.

I wish without me you would be inspired.

All I know it that you changed me.

Basically I wish you needed me.

Basically I want you to Love me back.

I want you around when you are far away.

See if you can figure me out.

See if you still want me.

In time you will give me up.

In time you will get sick of holding my hand.

I want to make you happy

I want you to want me no matter what.

don't forget about me.

Don't think that I don't want you.

I will not always need you though.

I remember this feeling! Wanting the unknown. A taste for the unknown. Challenge for the hunt and when captured, let go. How memorable!

i especially like the last two lines; although, i think the "though" at the end should probably go. in my mind it works better by saying "but i will not always need you." the "though" at the end of the line steals the power of the line away from it. just a thought. take it or leave it. i know how much i hate it when somebody tries to rewrite my work.
