A Poem by panther mae

I don't even know

Scribbles I suppose

Brain matter dripping on my shoulder

Can I hold you?

I'm getting older

My thoughts are retiring

Once again

I'm staining my sorrow with infinite meaning

Half of the time I believe what I'm dreaming

Wasteful taste buds collecting opinions

Our nightly discussions, I miss them

The spider you ate

I'll believe in fate

Let's f*****g go

Where have you gone?

I feel, rather rusted

A greenish blue

I'd rather exist in some other city

With green eyes and no ties

Where gumdrop trees harmonize with the breeze

Where the breeze is mauve colored and nothing in named

Where things appear backwards and no ones the same

And I'll talk to myself

Beneath the sea

My body, then, will surely split in two

They'll see separate flesh

Unimpressed

I'll carry thoughts of you

Sometimes the slightest mistake plays a note that I hate

It plays in my head and it clots up my veins

It memorizes all of my silent responses

When I attempt to fight back, it toys with my conscience.
