The Train

The Train

A Poem by paper vanhite

the train has left

and i'm walking it's tracks

for each of my steps

i take two steps back

my sky above

is titching pitch-black

moonless and starless

with dancing snow flock

if it's all in my head

then why am i cold?

how have i wandered

in this endless ice void?

perhaps it is fate

this walking on alone

but maybe one day

my hopes shall dawn

maybe they'll melt

this griving white snow

to drench and reveal

which path i must go

but now as it is

i'm trying to grow

wishing to see

my train through the snow
