I didn’t plan for this

I didn’t think of this

This is not me

But how can I not be?

How can I not look at you

When my eyes only see you?

How can I not want to know more about you

When all this heart knows is you?

You said it wasn’t mutual

So I dared to look away

But the feelings linger like a leech

Sucking all that is left of me

How can I let the day pass by without you

When I live every second to be with you?

How can I let go of you

When I am holding on for YOU?
