stray

stray

A Poem by Periac

our smile is as large as the Cheshire cats

why do we ever stray from this warm path
we've known this comfort for some time now
have you seen the father in me?
I strive to dress fully in the clothes left used by my own dad

I lament to your weakening demon
to begone now
there's no more to feed
you are now ready to heal my dear angel
and with that comes the departure of dark storms

hear me
let's just do this you know we can
