hop

hop

A Poem by Periac

surrendered to soft wonder
i’ll pretend i’m chivalrous
peering out of the coffins window

acres of beautiful cotton fields
exploded clouds lay as toupees on branches
oh pretty winter
you are desire
you are sincere

then

she hopped on lucky fours
in swift instincts
dressed iced fur
crisscrossed on homemade tracks
she was winter’s queen defined

disappearing under pine

Now there you are! Love this. Winter is such an inspiring subject. Whether she be she, or She. Made me smile. Love it!
