chariot

chariot

A Poem by Periac

Lest we faltered
indeed i’d warn

comely the frame upon an unknown disassembled wood

suave the serene little words emitting from lonesome whispers

come now sweet Charlotte
parade again in silks woven by cooled blue

welcome aboard our sweet old chariot
we’re coming to the middle of the maze now
hear it ?

hark!

our hearts break from silence while tears wash away rejoice
becoming was the sly twinkle
a useless ornament when abandoned
memories passed became antiquated

by this morning I engulfed my solitary

I do recall a similar write from you some time ago, but with different emotions felt on my end. This one speaks of haunted dreams to be awakened in a new day yet unknown. Hope? Perhaps. Acceptance of the way of pain? Perhaps. I take private lessons from this, in your intricately presented words. Always a pleasure to read you!
