being in a little war

being in a little war

A Poem by Periac
"

demo song

"

early spring rusty leaves i am free
whats left for me?
we had plastic guns
oh god damn thats fun
the ones with orange tips
there you were with your gun so muddy
kinda like the Rambo 2 movie

nobody ever died
cause all we'd ever do was hide

we need you to move to the front line
hope you practiced your video game this time

so silent i can hear my heartbeat
especially when i'm off my feet

as little boys alone with our toys
camoflauged along the creeks shore
here
we had the greatest
war

war
war
go away
come again another day
please bring our girls and boys back home

I like where you are going with this poems but I do have some suggestions.

cause all we'de ever do was hide (Should say we'd)

hope you practised your video game this time (Should say practiced).

With such a great point to this poem, I would hate for spelling and grammer to distract the reader from the message that you are trying to get across.
