Horizon

Between tomorrow and yesterday

Between twilight and dawn

Breath smoke upon the breeze

Mind lost to the horizon

Stars twinkle softly above

Mirrored street lights below

Land pristinely white

Sky cloudy dark

Outward cold and barren

Inward warm and fertile

Spirit soars up, body held below

Soul lost to the horizon
