I am Bane

saw dark knight rises. this guy is one hell of a character. i had to write about him.

I am Bane

 

I am not human

Nor being or entity.

I am bane.

Definition of intensity.

I am the darkness

Which engulfs the light.

I am the nightmares

That haunts you at night.

I am the bone

that continuously breaks.

I am the soul

The grim reaper forgot to take.

I am the protector

For my ladies gain.

I am the mask

To hide my eternal pain.

And now there’s a bat.

I ripped out his wings

He can’t fly.

I then formally gave him

Permission to die.

I really love this poem! I saw the movie, and I can't say it was the worst, but it definitely wasn't the best either. I think that you took everything about Bane and put it all together to form this really good poem. (:

I've never seen the dark knight rises but I like this poem. If You replaced "I am bane" with "I'm a Marine" it would be perfect.
