Footprints

Footprints

A Poem by Zephyr
"

A poem about footprints that was one of my musings while i was on a trip to the beach.

"

Lives are like footprints on a beach.
Eventually, the tides always rise and wash them away.
But each footprint is bound to touch another,
even if they're under the water.

THANK YOU to everyone who reviewed this, without all the little bits and pieces from the original i never would've been able to restore it. It seems a little off from the original, which upsets me, so if anyone remembers something that isn't in it now i would appreciate a comment to let me know.

Love this. So simple and true and the message is clear!

But each footprint is bound to touch another one,
even if they're under the water.

It's a small world... and so many lives touch others, sometimes we don't even realize it (the good and the bad). This is going straight into my library.

Nice!

Sweet meaning making ... Bravo!

... it is the ocean waves caressing the sand on the beach where these writings were written; now washed away... revealing potential

I think the over all message is there, but that you have some unnecessary words that take away from the flow.

so you might want to try it this way. Just a thought.

Lives are footprints on a beach.
the tides rise and wash them away.
But each footprint is bound to touch another,
even if they're under the water.
