love or hate

love or hate

A Poem by Worms

it's your choice

For You

I cannot keep this up

this war of words and scorn

I suppose I'm giving up

it looks like you have won

I ask you for the reason

that you fought me so

was it some supposed treason

really I must know

for you fought me viciously

you can't be put to shame

I stood for you religiously

'but you didn't do the same

is it any big surprise

that I am backing off

first you say you hate my lies

but now I don't say enough

your words have two themes

they're unlike any others

you hate me it seems

but then you act like my lover

I will not keep on fighting

until I can plainly see

the secrets you're hiding

the ones about me

and so I am saying this final goodbye

only you can decide wether you love or despise

This is very interesting. Simple, but interesting.

wow I can relate to this piece for me it's trying to keep that balance between one another and sometimes it can be an up hill battle of wills and whose right or wrong.
great job, well done.

It flowed and rhymed well, but I guess you don't need me to tell you that. I'm not sure.. is you main thing here saying goodbye? If it is then yayy I figured it out. haha. Anyways, nice poem

I am one who also understands the feeling of being drawn and quartered.
You express yourself with fire and passion. This situation is hard to navigate,
but you seem to have the right decision figured out.
