Enchantment

He thought he was under my spell,
But it was me that is mesmerized by him.
Funny how you could feel an unnatural presence 

when you like someone so much.
Then I thought, 

Isn’t love after all, magic?

Scientists say love is just chemistry but, poets say it is magic. Only problem is magic is mostly illusion. I like your poem but, to stay within the bounds of good English, you should say "it was I who was mesmerized by him".
