Don't Hide

Don't Hide

A Poem by N.Sevilla

My lips next to your ear,
Whispering to turn away
From those hateful looks
That torture you in day.
Look into my
Dark brown eyes.
Have those pretty greens look
Away from the lies.
Kiss my female lips, my love;
Don't feel any shame.
You love me as I love you;
Neither is to blame.
Please don't hide
When the crowds go by.
Please don't pull away
With a hurried goodbye.
I know those
Disgusted looks.
I know those insults and
Thrown down books.
Please believe me,
We can win this fight.
Just don't leave
Because They say our love isn't right.

Powerful and profound! So true...stand tall and hold hands and know that we are all the same...whatever our sexual preference...brilliant work! Saddening to think some people live under threats and remarks because of this! xx

A beautiful entreaty to stand up for freedom and what is right! Love this!

Such thoughtful feelings. Fight for what you believe, even if you think you are the only one :)
