How?

How?

A Poem by Picture of Poetry
"

A poem about life and the good with in it...

"

How a bird so sweet

speaks of wisdom with

words of love.

How I am but further

than a single rose in the mourning

sun glistening with dew.

How my bare feet upon the

sofe earth feels as soft as

sheeps wool.

How singing angles play

their horns and songs

of romantic death sounds

to my meek soul.

How the rain coming down

landing on my toung cam taste

no sweeter than love itself

and yet cupid steels the

phrase and keeps it locked up only

to use it for shameful purposes.

How my heart sings songs of

love and magic to which fill

my small  and lost mind

in dreams of candyland tenderness.

How flowers can drowns

out the hate.

How a hidden secret

can be locked away

with a lost key not to be found.

How my heart is to be saddened

and stabbed with cupids arrow

of demised creativity to shun the world.

How I dream of the wonderful

world of true peace.

How my dreams are filled

with the love that we once had.

How one day,

we will be together, forever.

Something I think you should know about this poem, you already do, as you wrote it, but what I think you should know is that it is full of simultaneous salvation and demise; so it is purely and coincidentally an elixir of ambivalence, and at the end I am not left scratching my head in perplexity, but sit silently contemplating love, and the key.

You are so incredibly talented. I envy you. x_x XD Every poem that I've read from you is so uniquely written & your way with language has such beauty. This poem is no exception. There were two verses in particular that I *adored* being, "How singing angles play / their horns and songs / of romantic death sounds / to my meek soul." AND "How my heart sings songs of / love and magic to which fill / my small and lost mind / in dreams of candyland tenderness." You are such a talented poet, I look foward to reading more! ^___^
