A Poem by Pinky

i am tattered

from the thorns

i am beaten down

i am worn

cold and soaking wet

from the lake of tears

i have wept

full of despair

shards of glass

cut my feet

i keep walking

longing to be complete

a fork in the road

what way do i go

if i pick the wrong one

in the end i will know

You definately will know! This poem speaks to me about taking the journey of life, so many different paths we can take. Follow what we know is right in our heart of hearts, and we are bound to make it.

So true. It is what life is about. A path unknown. Good piece (typos aside).

Life has many choices, many forks in the road. Sometime making the right choice is left up to fate, other times it take's a great amount of effort to get down the one you wish. Either way the future is there, and don't give up on what you wish for. :)
I can feel the tears. I send you hugs!
